After reading The Death of Pretty, and Men Growing Up to Be Boys, I believe if the two authors sat down and had dinner together it would be a pleasant time. The two authors have different beliefs yet i believe they compliment each other well. While the author of The Death of Pretty sees pretty as having innocence yet beauty at the same time, and argues that the majority of women today do not want to be seen as pretty, rather than hot. While the author of Men Growing Up to Be Boys puts on the idea that while men physically grow over time, their minds just stay the same mindset of a little boy. While the authors viewpoints may differ, I believe it could pose some interesting questions and thoughts if they were to talk about each others work.
