"Man child" and "hotness" over dinner

After reading “Men Growing Up to be boys” and “The Death of Pretty”, I believe that the two authors would get along perfectly well. If these two authors were to sit down over dinner and forced to have a conversation, I think they would have a fair amount of things in common while discussing their own views on how they see this generation changed dramatically over time. Both of them have really great points about the perspectives of men and woman, Archbold talks about how young women these days define the word pretty differently as to its real definition of the combination of beauty and innocence. Young women are obsessed with the idea that pretty means to be “hot” and “sexy” because it attracts the men, but the truth is that men will always prefer pretty versus hot. Lakshmi talks about how men never want grow up and are more comfortable being a boy for as longest they can. In other words, having less responsibilities, never getting a job, never getting married nor have kids is the correct way they see life, these fully grown men are acting like little boys and it needs to stop. Both of these authors would end the night with the pleasure of meeting each other over dinner and talking about topics that they both would certainly agree on.
